Instructions
 

Preheat and Prep:

  • Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Mix Dry Ingredients:

  • In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and sea salt. Set aside.

Cream Butter and Sugars:

  • In a large mixing bowl, use an electric mixer to cream the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.

Add Wet Ingredients:

  • Mix in the egg and vanilla extract until well incorporated.

Combine Wet and Dry Ingredients:

  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture. Mix on low speed until just combined to avoid overmixing.

Fold in Chocolate Chips:

  • Using a rubber spatula, gently fold in the chocolate chips.

Shape Cookies:

  • Scoop dough with a 1-tablespoon cookie scoop and place evenly on the prepared baking sheet.
